MTsN 1 Lumajang Welcomes Peace Corps Volunteer from the United States for English Teaching 

Lumajang, November 28, 2023 – MTsN 1 Lumajang now has an exceptional addition to its teaching staff. A Peace Corps volunteer from the United States, Taylor Heinicke (Taylor) from Colorado, has arrived at the school. In his first three days, Taylor is undergoing an environmental orientation at MTsN 1 Lumajang.

This orientation period serves as the initial stage where Taylor adapts to the surroundings, understands the school dynamics, and interacts with staff and students. After completing the orientation, he will return to Mojokerto for further training on local language and culture.

In December next month, Taylor Heinicke will commence his role as a Peace Corps volunteer at MTsN 1 Lumajang. With a background as a native English teacher from America, Taylor is ready to contribute for the next two years in enhancing English language proficiency for the students of MTsN 1 Lumajang.
